100baseT NIC + patch lead

Connect a Risc PC, A7000, or A7000+ to an Ethernet network to share files with other users, servers, or the wider internet. Auto detects link speed and duplex for 10baseT and 100baseT link partners. Comes with RJ45 patch lead, approximately 2m long. The network interface card comprises:

• ASIX AX88796 fast Ethernet controller with 16kB embedded buffer memory
• 1Mbit flash memory containing the EtherX relocatable module, and updated C Library and MBufManager
• Shielded RJ45 socket with link and activity status LEDs
• Stainless steel back plate and fixing screws

Suitable for RISC OS 3.60 or later, including RISC OS 5, the EtherX 2.00 module is dual 26/32 bit compatible. Requires Internet 5.00 or later for DCI4 compliance. Note that due to internal expansion bus bandwidth limitations the achievable throughput on a 100Mbps link will typically be twice that of an equivalent 10baseT NIC, but not tenfold.
