Privacy policy
Protecting the security and privacy of your personal data is important to us. This text describes the role Elesar Limited (‘Elesar’) plays as a data controller of personal data.
1. Data collected
If you use our online shop Elesar collects:
- Name and surname
- Company name, if applicable
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Postal address
- Billing address, if different
- IP address
If you use our online support portal Elesar collects:
- Name and surname
- Email address
- IP address
If you use application software which is downloaded by use of an installer from our server Elesar collects:
- The host identity of the computer
2. Use of that data
Elesar does not use any data for mass mailings, nor does it sell your information to 3rd parties for them to use. Data is only used in relation to activities you initiated:
- Order processing, such as arranging courier services on your behalf to deliver products to you, and payment processing with your credit/debit card provider [Contract]
- Providing support via email or telephone when requested, and responding to enquiries from you about products or services Elesar offers [Consent]
- Solving disputes, enforce our contractual agreements and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims [Contract]
- Ensuring compliance with legal obligations, such as record keeping obligations [Legal obligation]
- Logging of visits to our websites for statistical purposes [Legitimate interest]
3. Duration
Order history and support ticket history are retained permanently, unless you explicitly request that records are deleted. IP address information is rotated out of the logs at the end of each month, therefore that information could last up to 31 days.
4. Right to find out what is held and to be forgotten
Data protection law provides you with the right to:
- Make a Subject Access Request to obtain from Elesar information on your personal data held about you and receive a copy of your personal data being processed in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format
- Have Elesar rectify inaccurate personal data
- Request from Elesar the erasure of your personal data, unless processing of that personal data is necessary for compliance with applicable legal obligations
- Request from Elesar the restriction of processing regarding your personal data
- Raise a concern with Elesar if you think your personal data is being misused, or object to processing of your personal data based on a legitimate interest of Elesar or a 3rd party
- Transfer your personal data which you actively provided to another recipient selected by you
Elesar has up to 30 days to respond, and will not charge you for this.

Elesar is registered in the UK as a handler of data with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Our registration reference is ZA149593.
